Coronavirus and Our Committment to Our Members
To Our Valued Members and Community:
At Genesee Co-op Federal Credit Union our top priority is the safety and health of our members, employees and community. As we continue to monitor the coronavirus situation closely, we are taking prevention and preparation measures to keep the credit union open and staffed, and keep you informed. We strongly encourage you to keep your visits to the credit union to the bare minimum and to not come in if you are feeling at all sick. If you need any assistance but are sick or quarantined, please let us know and we will do our best to work with you.

Use any one of a national network of 5,000 credit unions across the country to perform your financial transactions (including checks and money orders.) No need to come into the Genesee Co-op when you can use the drive thru window at one of these locations to protect yourself and employees during the pandemic.
There are 27 branches in the area, but not all are open during the pandemic and almost all are operating drive-thru only, so check before you go.
Download our FREE Mobile App to find Shared Branches everywhere you go! Or visit the Shared Branch Locator Website.

With the continuation of the disruption caused by Covid-19 (coronavirus) we will be suspending certain fees to reduce hardship inflicted on the membership impacted by loss of income. As of today we will no longer be charging NSF fees, late charges (if you are currently less than 60 days delinquent) and out of network ATM fees. Fees charged by the providers of the out of network ATMs will still be assessed, as Genesee Co-op FCU has no control over setting those fee rates. This will be reviewed on an ongoing basis to insure appropriate actions are taken to safe guard both the membership and the credit union.

"The credit union has helped me straighten out my credit so I could own a home. They helped me every step of the way to homeownership right down to recommending and suggesting various avenues to save money and providing me with my first mortgage. They have always been there to make recommendations when I needed financial advice. I'm a member for life because they've made such a difference in my life."
